How It Works
How GiSMP Connects Across the GiT Platform.
How GiSMP Connects Across the GiT Platform
-
GiPoCA & GiSTTA → Triggers stock usage upon test completion
-
GiP → Logs medication issued per prescription
-
GiEPR → Reflects what was given to whom, securely
-
GiM → Aggregates stock data for system-wide analytics
Together, these modules ensure stock data isn’t siloed — it’s alive, actionable, and auditable.
Implementation Options
Two Flexible Implementation Models.
To suit a wide range of operational environments, the GiSMP offers two configurable implementation models. Whether you’re working with centralised distribution systems or in-field dispensing, both options ensure traceability, accountability, and real-time integration.
Option 1: Central Distribution Model
In this model, testing and treatment items are dispatched from a central facility and issued to healthcare providers or programmes. Stock is scanned, logged, and monitored at every point, from warehouse to clinic, using unique QR/barcode identifiers and the GiSMP platform. Prescriptions are verified through GiP and recorded into GiEPR automatically.
Ideal for:
-
Government programmes
-
Large NGOs
-
Controlled supply chains

Option 2: Field-Based Dispensing Model
Here, mobile teams or field-based dispensers manage their inventory, issuing test kits and treatments directly to individuals. Stock updates are synced to GiSMP when connectivity allows, and all usage links back to test results and prescriptions within the broader GiT ecosystem.
Ideal for:
-
Rural deployments
-
Mobile health units
-
Emergency response scenarios
